Week 5: Conversation week
Overview
Some weeks at LFI, we'll take it a little easier. These weeks we won't have a guest speaker or assigned readings, we'll just talk amongst ourselves on the discussion forum about what we're learning and thinking about, and we'll use the rest of our time to do our small group work.
Readings
No readings this week, but here are some lectures from the last round of LFI that you might find useful for conversation, given what we've already discussed.
- Kade Crockford from the ACLU of Massachusetts on CCTV usage in libraries: https://vimeo.com/276286612
- Eva Galperin from Electronic Frontier Foundation on threat modeling: https://vimeo.com/278193653
- Freddy Martinez from Lucy Parsons Labs on law enforcement surveillance: https://vimeo.com/280813702
