I like the idea of putting together a canned presentation for a large group. In thinking about the library conferences I go to, they're saturated with people who already know this information.

That got me thinking, can we take the show on the road to other groups that are looking for professional development? Maybe put together a presentation that's intended for groups that can benefit from the collective knowledge of librarians? Create something that's ready to go for other organizations in our communities like schools, hospital staff, government organizations, religious groups, clubs, etc?

I like the ideal of training of some sort. For me it would be both staff/public training and present the training in several places, conference (Georgia)/local staff training. Pat Ball

I like the idea of putting together a canned presentation for a large group. In thinking about the library conferences I go to, they're saturated with people who already know this information.
